The God I Serve

Be reminded today of the God that you serve.

The Bible reminds us “let anyone who thinks that he stands take heed lest he fall”, which is why I must die daily. 1 Cor. 10:12

I die daily, applying the Blood of Jesus Christ to my life, and by that I am sanctified, through “the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all”. Hebrews 10:10

The offering of Christ was once for all, as Jesus Christ has no need to die for our sins daily because “He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all when he offered up himself.” Hebrews 7:27

Man needed a sacrifice, as God’s Word says that “as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment”. Hebrews 9:27

But we should not be afraid of the judgment that is to come, because “Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him." Hebrews 9:28

So do not be distracted by the failures of man, but turn your eyes toward the Heavens, eagerly waiting for His return. And do not lose hope. Instead, take hope in knowing that you only need to stand still, while making room for His wrath.

With the Blood of Jesus applied to my life I can stand before  my God to say, making it known:

"It is time for the Lord to act,  for your law has been broken." Psalms 119:126

Which is why, I love God’s commandments    above gold, above fine gold. Psalms 119:127

So I will wait for the Lord in the path of his judgments, “where His name and remembrance are the desires of [my] soul”. Isaiah 26:8

“For when your judgments are in the earth,  the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness”. Isaiah 26:9

The God that I serve said, “Fear not, I am the first and the last, and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.”

And my God also has an eternal Gospel, which is “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come, and worship him who made heaven and earth, the sea and the springs of water.” Rev. 14:7

So do not be discouraged by the failures of man, instead look up and WORSHIP HIM, the One True and Living God.
